De La Nature
A moment to unwind in the city.
De La Nature in Tokiwadai, Itabashi, offers chewy fresh pasta, meat dishes, substantial cakes, and pots of tea, welcoming guests from lunch through to evening drinks.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Steps from Tokiwadai Station, De La Nature welcomes guests across the day, serving everything from hearty meals to afternoon tea. Pasta is the centerpiece of the savory menu, appreciated for the springy, toothsome bite of its freshly made noodles. Dishes like rich tomato sauces loaded with seafood or earthy cream sauces with mushrooms cling well to the pasta, making them popular choices for lunch and dinner. The menu extends to savory hamburger steak, stock-infused paella, and small plates such as marinated seafood and ajillo, giving diners plenty of flexibility whether eating or drinking.
Generously portioned cakes bring equal satisfaction to cafe visits. Options include pear tarts pairing fruit with crisp pastry, fragrant lemon baked goods, and airy chiffon cakes, each available alongside a beverage of choice. Drink options include smooth drip coffee served hot or iced, as well as a diverse selection of teas brewed in pots, from Darjeeling to fragrant herbal blends.
The Western-style interior centers on comfortable table seating, where guests are also welcome to bring their pet dogs. Whether sharing light fare over beer and wine or settling in for an afternoon dessert, the cafe offers an unpretentious setting throughout the week.
